Well, it has been a long week for some of us, but now we are all DONE with exams! Yeah!

This week, practices were optional so that we could study for exams as much as we needed to, but, in typical Stanford Gymnastics fashion, pretty much everyone came to most of the practices anyway. It's really hard to sit and study all day, and I think most of us look forward to workout as a time when we don't have to think about our classes and all of the other studying and paper-writing we have to do. I am always impressed with how well my teammates are able to leave their school-related stress outside the doors of the Ford Center and come in to practice with a positive attitude.

Tomorrow is our Sips and Swings exhibition, so we are all busy getting ready for that. Lise finished her exams on Monday night, and she has spent the greater part of her time since then preparing the centerpieces for the tables (they look amazing--awesome job, Lise!). Today we are going to set up the equipment for the exhibition, and then we will be all set for an evening of gymnastics and fine wine (don't worry, we won't be going anywhere near the beverages!). I hope everyone who attends will have a great time!

We all worked really hard this week, and we are looking forward to some time off from classes. Next week is sure to be full of team bonding and relaxing, and then we will all head home for the holidays. Season is just around the corner, and I can't wait!
